What is Nomad Reservations?

We’re a software company focused on improving the online reservation experience within outdoor hospitality. In short, our goal is to make it easier to plan and book all outdoor experiences.

Our products include: a property management and online reservation system used by campgrounds, a trip planner application, and campground listings which power reservations through third party sites (such as GoRVing Canada and Travel British Columbia). 

Does Nomad Reservations support my web browser?

We do our best to support all web browsers, but sometimes an issue might pop up with a particular web browser. 

For the best chance at completing your reservation online, we suggest using an updated version of Google Chrome or Firefox. If you’ve tried updating your browser and are still having issues, please shoot us an email and we’ll do whatever we can to help you.


I’m having technical issues completing my reservation. Can you help?

If you cannot complete your reservation online or are having technical issues, please make sure your web browser and operating system is up to date. For security reasons, we do not support browsers that are older than Internet Explorer 11.

How does Nomad Reservations work with GoRVing Canada?

We partnered with GoRVing Canada in order to provide a seamless booking experience for customers while they are planning a road trip across Canada. GoRVing has been serving the RV industry for decades and we’re excited to partner with them as a booking provider. This partnership allows website visitors to plan and book their trip and helps boost occupancy at campgrounds across Canada.

Is it safe to submit my payment online?

Yes. We use Stripe to process all payments online because of their level of security. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. You can learn more about Stripe’s security here.

Can I make a reservation over the phone?

If you want to make a booking over the phone at a campground, you can contact the park directly with the number listed on their website. We only provide online reservations for campgrounds, not over the phone.

What’s the difference between Instant Book versus Request Reservations?

In order to accept reservations from Nomad Reservations or one of our affiliates, campgrounds must either opt for instant or request based bookings. If you make a reservation with an instant book park, a confirmation will immediately be sent to your email. If you sent in a request and do not hear back within 3 days, the request will expire (we encourage all of our parks to get back to you as quickly as possible).

Are there additional fees if I use Nomad Reservations?

As a camper making a reservation, we charge a small booking fee for each reservation. This goes towards providing a safe and security booking experience. If you book through one of our partners, we let them set their own transaction fees (never more than 10%). 

What if I need to cancel or change my reservation?

If you need to make a change or cancel a reservation, you can contact the park directly. Each campground has the ability to set their own cancellation policy, which you will agree to before making a reservation.
